Each public body faces different
challenges and issues, transparency and a strong ethical foundation are
essential to all governmental bodies. The State’s Attorney’s Office strives to
ensure that the citizens of McHenry County find their local officials to be
trustworthy and receptive to the needs of the community.
It also seems pertinent that the
public understand their rights as well as the rights of the public bodies
regarding transparency.
