Applicants should have a background
relevant to the environmental issues of the District and be able to attend
quarterly and special call meetings.
Committee members are appointed by the
Conservation District Board of Trustees to monitor the interests of county
residents; explore opportunities that will enrich and support the District’s
mission; participate in the District’s Master Site Plan process; identify opportunities
for new activities, services and programs to engender public support; and
conduct background analysis and research on projects assigned by the Board of
Trustees.
Applications can be found on the
District’s website MCCDistrict.org/Get Involved, and are due Thursday, May 16.
Interested persons can forward applications, by May 16th, to MCCD@MCCDistrict.org or mail/drop off at
