7:00 a.m. – Search Committee of McHenry County Mental Health Board—

Meeting in the Mental Health Board Main Conference Room, 620 Dakota Street, Crystal Lake.

The Committee is to review and accept the Meyers Group as vendor for search services for Executive Director in response to an RFP.

Also the Committee is to review and make final recommendation of the Executive Director Job Description.

The Committee may make recommendations regarding the position.

8:30 a.m. – McHenry County Board Legislative Committee –

Meeting in the County Board Conference Room of the County Administration Building, 667 Ware Road, Woodstock.

The Committee is to consider a recommendation of Legislative Support for the Advancement of the Agricultural Conservation Easement and Farmland Protection Program.

Also, a discussion is to be held on Detailed Financial and Policy Reporting by Units of Local Government.

The 2013 State Legislative Program Proposals is also an item for discussion.

9:00 a.m. — McHenry County Continuum of Care For Homelessness—

Meeting in the Conference Room C, County Administration Building, 667 Ware Road, Woodstock.

A Data Report is to be provided regarding Continuous Quality Improvement.

Old Business includes:

New Business for the organization includes:

The Zoning Board and the Planning and Development Committee are meeting to review the draft Unified Development Ordinance. The meeting is taking place in the County Board Conference Room, County Administration Building, 667 Ware Road, Woodstock.

9:00  a.m.—McHenry County Continuum of Care for Homelessness

Meeting in Conference Room C, County Administration Building, 667 Ware Road, Woodstock.

A full agenda is listed for this group which deals with homelessness in McHenry County. The agenda includes such items as a review draft of Continuum by-laws; discussion around other models of COC organization.

Other matters essential to the operation of the organization are included such as establish a calendar of continuum responsibilities, review and update adoption of Mission statement, review action plan and prioritize driving goals for current fiscal year, project evaluation and ranking, observe other COCs; membership has been established, open enrollment September 5 to October 5.

10:30 a.m.  – McHenry County Merit Commission –

In addition to payment of bills, the Commission will consider Sergeant and Lieutenant Promotional Exam RFP.

They may also discuss old business regarding patrol exam update and the committee meeting schedule.

1:30 p.m. – McHenry County Zoning Board of Appeals –

A zoning hearing is being held regarding property located in Chemung Township, just west of the intersection of Lawrence Road and Lilja Road.

The petitioners are requesting a conditional use permit to allow food processing and retail sales on the property. A request is also being made for a variation from the provisions of regarding parking in order to allow a gravel parking surface and a driveway that is approximately 12 feet wide instead of the minimum 24 foot requirement.

A farm is located on this property, and the petition is being made to allow for the sale of a wider variety of goods and for processing goods and food on site. The petitioner is also requesting variations to allow a gravel parking surface.

Zoning and Planning staff have recommended that the requested conditional use is consistent with the map designation of agricultural.

The agenda calls for several presentations including Evaluation Presentation of Children/Adolescent Services, Crisis Services and Centegra Impatient Services, Thresholds Community Support Team

The meeting will begin with the welcome and introductions of those in attendance before turning to the agenda items.

A report is slated regarding Continuous Quality Improvement.

Under Old Business a listing of activities is being presented for review and prioritization as presented regarding the Administration and Management Structure. Also, a presentation of organizational structure research is scheduled by Hans Mach as well as the results of Analysis of Impediments Fair Housing.

Under new business, the matter of permanent shelter discussion and action steps is also slated, including a review of feedback from continuum members.

Tenant-based Rental Assistance (HOME Program) is a topic of information in preparation for Housing Commission review and RFP development.

Another topic for presentation and discussion is lobby for increased level of tax-credits.
