Crystal Lake Park District Main and West Beaches open for the season on Saturday, May 23. Main Beach is located at 300 Lake Shore Drive, Crystal Lake and West Beach is located at 2330 Lake Avenue, Crystal Lake.

• Main Beach Hours Memorial Day Weekend: 9 AM-Dusk
  
• West Beach Hours Memorial Day Weekend: 10 AM-Dusk

The Crystal Lake Park District Main Beach is a great spot to learn how to be safe and enjoy the water as well as experience outdoor fun all summer long. Swimming and boating classes, in addition to boat rentals, drop-in activities and special events will make your summer complete.

In addition, the Crystal Lake Park District is pleased to announce several fun opportunities available at Main Beach for the summer 2015 including Stand-Up Paddleboard lessons and rentals, continuation of canoe, sailboat and paddleboat rentals, and drop in activities.
 Drop-In activities during the Main Beach rest break are scheduled every week throughout this summer:

• Crafts on the Beach: Tuesdays, 2:15 pm, $3 per person
• Wet ‘N Wild Thursdays: Thursdays, 2:15 pm, FREE
• Family Bingo: Fridays, 2:15 pm, FREE

Main Beach is also home to the Concerts in the Park Series on Tuesday evenings and once a month Movies in the Park. These programs are free and the schedule can be found online at www.crystallakeparks.org/Programs/free-programs
