The ending date for candidacy petition filing for
McHenry County College Trustee candidates for the April 9, 2013 Consolidated Election
has changed with the recent passage of Senate Bill 3339. Petition filing
starts at 8 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 17 and now ends at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec.
26.
The College will be closed on Monday, Dec. 24. Petitions will be accepted from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.in Room A233 from Dec. 17 through 21 and will be accepted on Dec. 26 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. in Room B176.
All candidates who file at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 17 will be entered in a simultaneous petition filing lottery to determine ballot placement. A date for this lottery, if needed, will be chosen and publicly announced.
