McHenry County College will host Cardiovascular Screenings from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 21, at the college, located at 8900 U.S. Hwy. 14 in Crystal Lake.
Screenings will be performed by the McHenry County Department of Health (MCDH) and include: total cholesterol, HDL and LDL cholesterol, tryglycerides, fasting blood glucose, blood pressure, and cardiovascular education. MCDH requires that individuals fast for 12 hours prior to the screening. Screenings are by appointment only.
The screenings are open to the public. Cost is $35. For additional information or to schedule an appointment, call MCDH at (815) 334-4536.
