THURSDAY, JUNE 28 –

8:30 a.m. – McHenry County Board Legislative Committee –

Meeting in County Board Conference Room, County Administration Building, 667 Ware Road, Woodstock.

The Committee will be engaging in two conference calls. One is with Kat Lawrence, Metro Counties regarding State Legislation. The second is with Trent Lehman, of the Ferguson Group regarding Federal Legislation.

The Committee also plans to discuss the topic of Local Government Consolidation.


9:00 a.m. - McHenry County Board Technical Advisory Committee --
Meeting in County Board Conference Room, County administration Building, 667 Ware Road,Woodstock.

Old business to be considered includes Countywide permits and Runoff Volume Reduction.


New Business relates to Runoff Volume Reduction Cost Analysis.

10:00 a.m. – McHenry County Coordinating Council—

Meeting in Meeting Room C, McHenry County administration Building, 667 Ware Road, Woodstock.

Presentations are scheduled from Robert Flemming, Regional Coordinator for Illinois Emergency Management Agency, Ron Carlson, of the Red Cross, and  Dean Breuer, of Commonwealth Edison.

The Local Emergency Operations Plan is to be discussed as well as Mutual Aid.

This topic will involve the various agencies involved with this topic.

6:00 p.m. – McHenry County Mental Health Board—

The agenda calls for consideration of funding, licensing agreements, including temporary positions as well as setting special meetings of the board during the next four months. All are related to the necessity to close the Family Service and Mental Health Facility as of June 30.

6:30 p.m. – McHenry County College Board of Trustees –

Meeting in the Board Room of the College, 8900 U S. Highway 14, Crystal Lake.

Following an opportunity for visitors to make a presentation to the Board of Trustees; various reports from committees, ICCTA, Friends of MCC Foundation and the President’s Report, Communications from Faculty, Staff Council, Student Trustee, Board members or the attorney, the Consent Agenda is presented for approval.

Trustees may remove any items from this listing for further discussion before voting on them. Otherwise all items are usually approved with one voting action.

Items removed by any board member are then handled on an individual basis for discussion and approval.

7:30 a.m. – McHenry County Stormwater Commission –

Meeting in the County Board Conference Room, County Administration Building, 667 Ware Road, Woodstock.

The committee is to consider, for action, an application to CMAP for a Technical Assistance Grant to Update the SMO Ordinance.

Also to be considered by the Committee is TAC Membership changes and renewals.

The Committee may discuss House Bill 0404, Community Certification and consider a report from TAC Chairman Graig Neville, of Manhard Consulting.

Meeting in the Board Room of the College, 8900 U.S. Highway 14, Crystal Lake,

Following acceptance of minutes of previous meetings, and time for recognition of visitors and presentations, the board will consider the necessary reports provided such as financial statements, ratification for payment various bills, requests for the purchase of various services and equipment necessary to the operation of the institution, emergency repair of a storm drain which broke under the Art Department;. Among purchases which are presented for approval included are: purchase of two used Electric/Hybrid Vehicles for Automotive Department teaching purposes; a Table Top 3-Dimensional CNC Milling Machine for teaching purposes;
