The Committee will be considering two proclamations, including declaring National Public Works Week, “Building for Today, Planning for Tomorrow:” and a proclamation recognizing Richard “Mark” DeVries for 29 years of Public Service with McHenry County.

Meeting in the County Board Conference Room, County Administration Building, 667 Ware Road, Woodstock.

The Board is to conduct a hearing regarding reclassification from A-1 Agriculture District to a B-1 Neighborhood Business District for property in McHenry Township. Also to be considered for the property is a request for the granting to allow a transitional yard setback of 9.5 feet instead of the required 30 foot setback for both side yards.

4:30 p.m. –McHenry County Mental Health Board—

Meeting in the Mental Health Board Main Conference Room, of the facility located at 620 Dakota Street, Crystal Lake.

The meeting is to be in executive session to interview a candidate for the position of executive director.

In addition to handling routine matters, the Board is expected to consider rate increases for Valley Hi Nursing Home by $5 per day for each of three levels of care provided.

The new rates include:

Intermediate Care $215 per day from $210

Skilled I Care        $225 per day from $220

Skilled II Care       $235 per day from $230

The Zoning Board is to hear a request for reclassification from the B-1 Neighborhood Business District to the B-3 Business District with a variation to allow a minimum area of .585 acres instead of the required 1 acre minimum area, a variation to allow a minimum .585 acres instead of the required 1-acre minimum area, a variation to allow a transitional side yard setback of 25 feet instead of the required 50 feet from the east property line, a variation to allow a transitional rear yard setback of 23 feet instead of the required 50 feet from the south property line, and a variation to allow a minimum road frontage of 138 feet instead of the required 150 feet minimum.

This petition was continued from the September 4, 2013 PZC meeting.

Variation to allow a deck and gazebo to encroach 10 feet into the required 20-foot rear yard setback

A variation to allow a 6-foot tall fence in a yard abutting a street (10 feet from the property line along Amberwood Dr.) instead of the maximum permitted height of 3 feet.

Meeting in the County Board Conference Room, County administration Building, 667 Ware Road, Woodstock

The Committee is slated to consider FY 13-14 Budget Reviews for Employee Benefit Fund, Social Security Fund, and IMRF Fund.

Also to consider a resolution authorizing acceptance of the In-Person Counselor Grant from the Illinois Department of Public Health along with an emergency appropriation to the FY 2013 Health Department Budget and the creation of a part-time Office Assistant II position.

9:30 a.m.  McHenry County Board Finance and Audit Committee—

Meeting in the County Board Conference Room, County administration Building, 667 Ware Road, Woodstock

A presentation is slated for the Committee by James Reaves on the University of Illinois Extension program.

The committee is to hold budget reviews for Fiscal Year 13-14 for the following, Assessor, County Clerk, Revolving Loan Fund, Treasurer, and Auditor.

Resolutions to be considered include one authorizing the Acceptance of a State of Illinois Emergency Management Performance Grant Agreement for FY 2013

Also a Resolution authorizing acceptance of the in-Person Counselor Grant from the Illinois Department of Public Health.

The Zoning Board is to consider a petition for a Conditional Use Permit to allow for horse racing events with food and merchandise vendors at the events, along with signage in accordance with the McHenry County Sign Ordinance. A variations also being requested to allow for grass parking areas during the horse racing events.

Meeting at the Mental Health Board facility, 620 Dakota Street, Crystal Lake.

The Board is to consider budget priorities for FY14 along with increasing the board’s understanding of Budget Process.

Meeting at the Mental Health Board facility, 620 Dakota Street, Crystal Lake.

In addition to handling the routine reports for the agency, the Board is expected to consider a request for proposal for contracted legal counsel. Independent Several CFY14 budget Modification Proposals; authorization for TAG Emergency Funding Request and other updates as needed

Meeting in Redtail Golf Club, 7900 RedTail Drive, Lakewood.

In addition to approving payment of bills, the Board is to consider approval of a Work Orders from Baxter & Woodman for Annual Flow Monitoring and Sampling Compliance Assistance in a lump sum of $3,000.

Also approval for a Work Order for the East Side Outfall Storm Sewer Improvements in a sum of $28,900

A resolution accepting the donation of certain property and authorizing the redemption of taxes is the only item of business.

8:15 a.m. – McHenry County Board Law and Justice Committee-

Meeting in the County Board Conference Room, County Administration Building, 667 Ware Road, Woodstock.

Several resolutions are to be considered including authorization to purchase electronic key control cabinets for the McHenry County Jail Facility

Authorizing the purchase and installation of a new video visitation system in the County Correctional Facility.

Also authorizing a contract with D’s Marine for the refurbishing of two marine patrol unit boats.

Also to be considered are budget reviews for the Public Defender, Court Service, Court Administration and Coroner.

New Dawn Project Updates and invoices are also to be considered.

8:15 .a.m. – McHenry County Board Human Resources Committee –

A joint meeting with the County Board Finance and Audit Committee is to be held regarding a resolution establishing the guidelines for Fiscal Year 2013-2014 Pay-For-Performance Adjustments.

9:00 a.m. McHenry County Board Finance and Audit Committee —

Meeting in the County Board Conference Room, County Administration Building, 667 Ware Road, Woodstock.

Two Resolutions are being presented for Committee approve regarding authorizing emergency appropriations, for the Planning and Development Department and the other for the Division of Transportation for the FY 2012-2013 budget for fuel oil and grease

A resolution is being presented authorizing the purchase of three vehicles for the County Division of Transportation.

Also for consideration, is a resolution authorizing the acceptance of Metro Suburban Accelerated Training for Illinois Manufacturing Grant as a Sub-Recipient of Will County and Authorizing an Emergency Appropriation to the Workforce Network 22013 Budget

Another resolution is being presented authorizing the Symantec Software Maintenance and Support Agreement Renewal for another year.

The Committee is also to review the external single audit.

3:00 p.m. – McHenry County Mental Health Board—

Meeting in the main conference room of the Mental Health Board facility, 620 Dakota Street, Crystal Lake.

Consideration is to be given to funded agency providers, for developmental disabilities, mental health and substance abuse. Also presented for consideration is presentation on board planning.

7:00 p.m. – Crystal Lake Public Library Board Automation Committee –

Meeting in the Library Directors Office of the Library, 126 Paddock Street, Crystal Lake.

7:30 p.m.—Community High School District 155 Board –

Meeting in the District Offices, One South Virginia Road, Crystal Lake.

The Board is to give recognition to Bill Murphy, former Crystal Lake High School District Athletic Director who was inducted into the Illinois Athletic Directors Association Hall of Fame.

An extended list of resignations, many due to it being the end of the school year and also new employees for the new school year.

The Board is also to approve the list of 1,676 May 2013 graduates including Cary-grove 457Crystal Lake Central 372 Prairie Ridge 407and Crystal Lake South 440.
