The Crystal Lake Public Library Board of Trustees has scheduled a series of five committee meetings as follows:

Wednesday, October 2 – 12:30 p.m. – Facilities Committee – in the Library Director’s Office at the Library.

Wednesday,  October 2 – 7:00 p.m. – Personnel Committee – in the Library Director’s Office at the Library.

Wednesday, October 9, -- 7:00 p.m. – Building Committee – in the Ames II Room, at the Library

Thursday, October 10 – 7:00 p.m. – Finance Committee -- in the Library Director’s Office at the Library.

Monday, October 14 – 7:00 p.m. – Joint meeting of Planning and Public Relations Committees  in the Library Directors Office at the Library.

6:00 p.m. –District 155 Board Policy Committee—

Meeting in Center For Education, One South Virginia Road, Crystal Lake.

Several discussion items are on the agenda, including School Wellness Policy, Health and Safety and Dispensation of Medication.

6:30 p.m. – District 155 Curriculum, Staff Development, Technology & Student Services

Meeting in Center For Education, One South Virginia Road, Crystal Lake.

The agenda calls for several topics including Curriculum Update, Technology Update and Shared Services Update.

7:00 p.m. – Crystal Lake Public Library Board, Public Relations Committee –

Meeting in the Library Director’s Office, Crystal Lake Public Library, 126 Paddock Street, Crystal Lake.

Crystal Lake Library Board Committee Meeting

The Automation Committee of the Crystal Lake Public Library Board of Trustees is meeting this evening at 7:00 in the Library Director’s Office, Crystal Lake Public Library, 126 Paddock Street.

Crystal Lake Library Facilities Committee Schedules Meeting

The Facilities Committee of the Crystal Lake Public Library Board of Trustees will consider a number of topics at the next meeting of the Committee on Wednesday, January 12 at 12:30 p.m. These include  the Beacon area emergency exit repair project, review of an equipment assessment report and facility updates. The committee will be meeting in the Library Director's Office.

Crystal Lake Library Closed Friday and Saturday for New Year's Holiday

The Crystal Lake Public Library will be closed Friday, December 31 and Saturday, January 1 for the New Year's Holiday. The Library will re-open at 1:00 p.m. Sunday January 2, 2011.

Additionally, two committees of the Library Board of Trustees will be meeting in the New Year. On Monday, January 3 at 7:00 pm the Public Relations Committee will meet in the Library Directors office to consider a draft of the Annual Report as well as consider current messages to be communicated.

The Planning Committee of the Library Board will meet at 7:00 pm January 4 in the Library Director's Office. This committee will consider the needs assessment project, planning timeline and responsibilities.

is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 9, in the Library Director's Office of the Crystal Lake Library.

A meeting of the Finance Committee of the Crystal Lake Library Board of Trustees is scheduled for 7:00 this evening in the Library Director's Office of the Library, 126 Paddock Street, Crystal Lake.

The Facilities Committee of the Crystal Lake Library Board of Trustees will meet Wednesday, October 13 at 12:30 p.m. in the Assistant Director's Office of the Library.
