for Romance: Valentine’s Cooking Class. Learn how to make this romantic meal or
take this class with your sweetheart for a fun afternoon learning new cooking
skills. Chef Santiago will share how to make a delicious Valentine’s Day meal,
including classic beef wellington, puff pastry, spinach with a red wine sauce and
decadent flourless chocolate cake for dessert. Class fee is per person and
includes lunch. Class takes place from 12-2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31 at the 1776
Restaurant in Crystal Lake. Cost is $65 per person. Use course ID: NCU

Millrose
Restaurant trip on Feb. 12: Enjoy rustic ambiance in a relaxed country
atmosphere at the Millrose Restaurant in Barrington, featuring quality food and
large portions. Seven large, 125-year old barns have been moved and used to
create the restaurant, banquet facilities and country store. Attached to the
restaurant, you can browse the country store and find goodies to take home.
Next, participants will visit the Baha’i House of Worship for North America,
which is one of only seven Baha’i temples in the world and the unique structure
symbolizes unity and invites spirituality. Trip takes place from 10:45 a.m. to
4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12. Cost is $79 per person. Use course ID: NST S37 001
when registering.
