Raue Center For the Arts welcomes
six-time Grammy Award Winning and Rock and Roil Hall of Fame inductee Dr. John
to the stage on November 8 at 8 p.m.
The American singer-songwriter,
pianist and guitarist combines blues, pop, and jazz as well as zydeco, boogie
woogie and rock and roll.
Known for hits like “Right Place Wrong
/time” and “Rite Away” this show is not to be missed.

Dr. John, or Mac Rebennack as known to
friends and family, is universally celebrated as the living embodiment of the
rich musical heritage exclusive of New Orleans. His very colorful musical
career began in the 1950;s when he wrote and played guitar on some of the
greatest records to come out of the Crescent City, including recordings by
Professor Longhair, Art Neville, Joe Tex and Frankie Ford.
