Several projects are before the Commission.
Leaps and Bounds, 764 Tek Drive, is seeking a variation in order to locate a daycare facility in a manufacturing zone district. The property was used as office space. The Daycare facility would lease a portion of the building allowing the reaming area to be used for office space.

Gas Station at 230 North Route 31 The gas station is being joined with Circle K which will operate a convenience store and car wash.  A Special Use Permit amendment is requested in order to add signage for the store and car wash.

7910 Route 14- The former PNC Bank located on approximately 4.16 acres is currently located in the unincorporated McHenry County area. The petitioner desires to annex to the City, with intent to locate a gas station and convenience store at this location.

The property is located in the Crystal Lake Watershed and would be required to be developed as a Planned Unit Development. With the adoption of the City's Unified Development Ordinance an overlay district may provide additional uses through the application of a Watershed PUD.

At this point the petitioners are seeking comments from the Commission to understand what is needed to develop the plans.
