Many animals depend on the help of humans.
That is especially true of those who are "homeless", that is those who do not have a permanent home with loving pet owners.
The Animal Outreach Humane Society of McHenry County is asking for support for their annual pasta dinner and silent auction.
That is taking place Saturday, September 18 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the McHenry Moose Lodge, 3535 North Richmond Road—on Route 31 just south of Johnsburg Road.
The dinner includes all you can eat of pasta with meat or meatless sauce, salad, garlic bread, dessert and a relish tray. All for $5 for adults or $3 for kids 10 and under.
There is also a silent auction which includes an authentic Bears helmet signed by Brian Urlacher #54 as just one of the many auction items to be found.
