Today is the final day for filing of nominating petitions for offices to be considered by voters in the Tuesday, March 20 Primaries.
Katherine C. Schultz, McHenry County Clerk has issued notice that a Simultaneous Filing Lottery will be conducted Monday, December 12 at 10 a.m. in her office located at the County Administration Building, 667 Ware Road, Woodstock.
The lottery is being held to determine ballot placement for the candidates to be listed on the Republican ballot for the March 20, 2012 Primary election.
All the candidates involved filed at the same time on the first day for filing nominating petitions in hopes of being listed first on the ballot.
In District One – Yvonne M. Barnes and Anna May Miller.
District Two -- James L. Heisler and Carolyn Schofield
District Three -– Mary R. Alger, Mary L. Donner, Joseph (Joe) Gottemoller, Mary McClellan, Linda (Lyn) Orphal, and Nick Provenzano
District Four —John D. Hammerand, Sandra Fay Salgado, and Edward Varga
District Six –- Diane F. Evertsen, Shawn Green, David LaGue, Mary T. McCann, Ersel C. Schuster and Rachel Elizabeth Smith.
