Government At Work

MONDAY, DECEMBER 5
8:15 a.m.—Law and Justice Committee of McHenry County Board--
Meeting in County Board Conference Room, County Administration Building, 667 Ware Road, Woodstock.

A presentation is to be provided the Committee regarding Community-Specific Integrated Emergency Management Training in 2013.

A new business matter—a Resolution Authorizing Payment of Special Prosecutor Fees and Consultant Fees is to be considered. A new payable request for the months of August 2010 through November 2010 is $90,783.34. The County has issued a payment of $20,873.00 on April 28, 2011 to satisfy the payment request of the Consultant working on the investigation.

The balance of $69,910.34 exceeds the amount the County has set aside in a contingency fund for this purpose by $12,971.53. The amount is to be paid from the County’s fiscal year 2011 general fund contingency. A request is being made for this amount to be paid from the County’s fiscal year 2011 general fund contingency.

6:30 p.m.—Evaluation and Policies Committee of McHenry County College Board of Trustees.
Meeting in the Board Room of the College, 8900 U.S. Highway 14, Crystal Lake.

A number of matters are to be considered by the Committee including Board Self-Evaluation, faculty parental leave, sick days for retirement option, student harassment discrimination, discussion of Section 1, Board Policy Manual
