Governments At Work

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 27
9:30 a.m. – Finance and Audit Committee of McHenry County Board 
Meeting in the Conference Room, McHenry County Administration Building, 667 Ware Road, Woodstock.

A presentation is scheduled on the FY 2012 Budget Development.

A number if resolutions are being presented for the committee’s consideration including:
Resolution authorizing the adoption of Senior Services Grant Funding Allocations for program year 2012;

Resolution authorizing an Emergency Appropriation of $40,000 from the General Fund Reserves to Restore Funding to the Breast and Cervical Cancer Program for FY 2011;

Resolution authorizing acceptance of an Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program funding in the amount of $402,960 and Committing County Financial Support for FY 2012.

Resolution authorizing a budget line item transfer in the Planning & Development Department’s Fiscal Year 2011 budget.

Discussion of Revolving Loan Fund request from Millennium Electronics International, Inc.

Preliminary review of FY 11-12 Budget.

6:45 p.m. High School District 155 Board Policy Committee –
Meeting in Prairie Ridge High School, 6000 Dvorak Drive, Crystal Lake.

In addition to approval of minutes from July 19, a section of the policy which is under review will be considered. This involves Fiscal Management-Capital Asset Accounting.

7:00 p.m. –Lakewood Village Board—
Meeting in RedTail Golf Club, 7900 RedTail Drive, Lakewood.

A couple Ordinances are being presented for approval including one Authorizing the Sale or Disposal of Personal Property Owned by the Village of Lakewood; and an Ordinance Amending Section 4.15 of the Lakewood Municipal Code to establish Standards for the Hiring/Training of Part-Time Police Officers.

Among the items for discussion is a motion to approve the lowest proposal from Hughes & Sons, Inc for 2011 Village Entryway signs in an amount not to exceed $16,800.

Other matters include other business and any new business although there is nothing listed on the agenda for these.
