Oakbrook Estates is located off of Sands Road, between Rt 14 and Three Oaks Rd (across from the entrance to Home Depot in Crystal Lake). Suki is a foster cat in the care of On Angels' Wings Pet Rescue in Crystal Lake.
She is an almost all-black medium-size cat. She is very shy, only used to being indoors, and is 4-paw declawed. She may or may not respond to you if you call for "Suki" or "Pretty Girl". She is likely hiding because she is terrified of being outside her home. If you spot her, please call On Angels' Wings Pet Rescue at 224-688-9739 or 815-356-8170.
Another black kitty was lost in the PetsMart parking lot in that same vicinity on October 1st; we are asking everyone to keep their eyes open for both cats when driving or shopping in that area.
Cici (kitty lost in PetsMart parking lot) is a black female cat with a splash of white fur on her chest, missing since 10/1/11. If you see her, please call Animal Outreach Humane Society at 815-385-0005.
Please don't hesitate to contact either group if you spot one or both of these lost kitties - they work closely together and will make sure the cats get back to their foster homes. You can also contact McHenry County Animal Control at 815-459-6222 if you locate either one; reports have been filed with MCAC for both cats, and their microchip numbers are on file with the county.
Thank You to everyone for looking in sheds, bushes, under steps, under mobile homes, scrounging for food near dumpsters and garbage cans, behind stores, and anywhere else where you think a cat might hide in that area. We're hoping for a Thanksgiving miracle; we truly want to find both of these girls and get them back into their foster homes as soon as they are found.
