Intersession Courses at MCC


McHenry County College is offering a Winter Intersession between fall and spring semesters for students who want to get a jump-start on high-demand classes or re-take a class during the winter break.

Seven different intersession courses will take place between Dec. 19 and Jan. 11, 2012, unless otherwise noted.

Some classes are a mixture of online coursework and specific meeting dates, while others are online only. The following intersession courses are available online:
  • Financial Accounting (ACC 151)
  • Computer Literacy (CIS 110)
  • Introduction to Meteorology (EAS 120), through Jan. 15
  • The College Experience (MCC 101)
  • Art Appreciation (ART 151)
  • Introduction to Human Biology (BIO 110), through Jan. 15
  • Information Literacy and Healthcare (HCE 111), are blended courses, which combine online lectures and in-person labs or coursework.
A permit is required for the MCC 101 courses.

During the week of Dec. 26-30, MCC will provide support to students using the ANGEL course management system from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 27 and 29. Students needing support for ANGEL login issues should email the Support Team using leavmail@mchenry.edu.

Any questions related to instructional materials posted to ANGEL should be sent to the course instructor.

Current and returning MCC students may register in person in the MCC Registration Office, Room A258 or call the Registration Office at (815) 455-8588. Current students may also register online at www.mchenry.edu/mymcc.
