It’s time to think about an election!

The upcoming election on March 20!

A lot of pre-planning is needed by many to get to Election Day.

McHenry County Clerk, Katherine Schultz, has announced that Monday, November 28 is the first day for filing of petitions for the March 20^th 2012 Primary Election. The closing date for filing these petitions is Monday, December 5

The hours for the filing with the County Clerk’s Office in the County Administration Building at 667 Ware Road, Woodstock are:

On the first day for filing, the doors to the building will open at 7:30 a.m. and the County Clerk’s Office, Room 107, will open at 8:00 a.m. for filing.

Filings will be accepted Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM until the close of filing on Monday, December 5. The office hours on December 5 will be 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. No filings will be accepted after 5:00 PM on Monday December 5.
