On Thursday, May 28th, 2015, Hey
and Associates, Inc. will be conducting an aquatic herbicide
treatment on Crystal Lake to control Curly Leaf Pondweed with a
product called Aquathol Super K®.
The area to be treated is located
along the northern areas of West Bay on Crystal Lake, including near
shoreline areas to approximately 150’ out into the lake. Multiple
stands of Curly Leaf Pondweed have been identified as actively
growing and healthy.
Water treated with this product may
be used for swimming, fishing, and irrigating turf, ornamental plants
and crops immediately after treatment. Do not use treated water for
animal consumption within 10 days after treatment.
