The special meeting is being called to discuss A Resolution Requesting the Submission of a Question of
Public Policy to the Electors of McHenry
County Regarding the Method of Selection of the
County Board Chair
Voters are being asked “
"SHALL THE CHAIRMAN OF THE MCHENRY COUNTY BOARD BE ELECTED AT-LARGE, BY
THE VOTERS FOR A TERM OF FOUR YEARS AND NOT BE REQUIRED TO BE A MEMBER OF THE
MCHENRY COUNTY BOARD?”
It is anticipated there will be some discussion
regarding the question.
