More Government At Work On Thursday

7:30 p.m. – Grafton Township Regular Board Meeting-

Meeting at the Huntley Park District building, 12015 Mill Street, Huntley.

In addition to auditing and paying the monthly bills, the Board is planning to discuss and take action regarding payment of the Road District
Commissioner’s spouse insurance.

Two other matters are slated for discussion and possible action including mileage reimbursement for Road District Commissioner to be taken directly from Road District funds.

The second matter is discussion and potential action to reimburse Trustee Zirk for mileage and FOIA request fees.

Following approval of minutes of the previous Board meeting, there is time for public comment with board members providing response as necessary.

Old Business includes:
  • Discussion and possible action regarding:
  • Status of audit of 2009-2010 and 2010-2011.
  • Hiring of a new audit firm to complete above audits and audit of 2011-2012.
  • Discussion and potential action on review of check stubs/statements for January through August 2012.
New Business:
  • Discussion and potential action on appointment of Marci Gordon as Deputy Clerk, being paid as a contracted vendor at $15 per hour
  • Discussion and potential action on attendance of 2012 TOI Annual Conference in Springfield
  • Discussion and potential action on restating and requiring Supervisor Moore to follow previous established policy/procedure to use Purchase Order and Checks to complete daily business transactions in order to replace the credit and debit card requirement
  • Discussion and potential action to authorize a credit card for the Road District.
  • Discussion and potential action on a Resolution setting compensation of Township officials for the four year term beginning May 20, 2013.
  • Establishment of agenda items for next meeting.
Reports are also to be made as necessary from the Township officers and Trustees.
