The McHenry County College Board of Trustees is beginning to look toward the future and how to accommodate the McHenry County students who desire more education. A planning committee of the Board met briefly this afternoon to begin looking at what could be done to handle the added students. No decisions were made other than to plan on seeking necessary previous documents such as plans and information regarding the present buildings. Also the newly installed College President, Dr. Vicky Smith, intends to visit with City of Crystal Lake officials since the college buildings are located in the Crystal Lake watershed and she wants to understand what is needed by the City since she is not from this area. Another meeting of the committee is planned for the end of October.
