Government At Work

TUESDAY, JUNE 11—
8:15 a.m. McHenry County Board Human Resources Committee
Meeting in the County Board Conference Room, County Administration Building, 667 Ware Road, Woodstock.
The Committee is to discuss the group health insurance consultant’s contract followed by consideration of the Quarterly Workers’ Compensation update.
A resolution establishing the guidelines for Fiscal Year 2013-2014 Pay for Performance Adjustments is to be considered.
9:30 a.m. McHenry County Board Finance and Audit Committee—
Meeting in the County Board Conference Room, County Administration Building, 667 Ware Road, Woodstock.
The Committee is to consider a four-year lease for Panasonic Toughbooks with HP Financial; Services for the Sheriff’s Department.
Several resolutions are being presented for Committee recommendation including one approving a supplemental construction engineering services agreement for the James R. Rakow Road Construction Project.
A Resolution authorizing the purchase of two vehicles for the McHenry County Division of Transportation
A Resolution awarding a county highway pavement preservation thin lift overlay contract and appropriating funds
A resolution establishing the guidelines for Fiscal Year 2013-2014 Pay-For-Performance Adjustments
Ordinance Adopting the Prevailing Wage Rates
Other matters to be considered include Quarterly Workers' Compensation update and discussions regarding presentation on Demystifying Your Tax Bill and Options for Expanded Property Tax Schedule
7:00 p.m. –Lakewood Village Board
Meeting in RedTail Golf Club, 7900 RedTail Drive, Lakewood.
Following the consideration of approval of minutes, bill lists and financial statements as presented to the board, two requests are being presented for Board action.
One is for approval of an ordinance authorizing the sale or disposal of personal property owned by the Village and the second is approval of an ordinance establishing prevailing wage rates for the Village.
Several items are included on the agenda for discussion including a motion to approve an ordinance regarding a second amendment to the budget for fiscal year 2012-2013.
A second is for approval of a weekly acquatic management services contract with Environmental Acquatic Management LLC for the Turnberry Lakes System.
A third motion for discussion, and approval, concerns a resolution approving the Village Manager’s Employment Agreement.
