The final landscaping is complete and additional
erosion control measures are in place for the winter snow. The temporary
striping is almost complete. The lane lines are in place but some
additional markings at turn lanes and shoulders are expected to be complete any
day (weather permitting). Once striping is complete, the work zone speed
limit will be removed and final signage will be placed.
South Leg:
The final landscaping is ongoing. Some areas
where work remains will see temporary stabilization in place for the
winter. The electrical contractor is working on new traffic signal
foundations at the intersection of Walkup/IL 176. Temporary striping is
nearing completion
