South section-
Pavement removal and earth
excavation will continue on the north side of IL Route 176 and on Walkup
between Park View and Talismon Drive. New curb and gutter will be installed
next week in these areas.
Work continues on the new retaining wall along Veteran Acres, and work will
start on the retaining wall along the shopping mall located on IL 176.
North
section-
Curb and gutter installation will be completed early next week on the
east side of Walkup. Stone grading and asphalt widening will follow. Traffic
lane shifting may occur at the end of next week – watch for updates.
Please
proceed with caution through the work zones – construction personnel and
equipment will be present. Expect delays as the work scheduled will impact
traffic.
