Cooperation between the Village of Huntley and
Grafton Township is helping to provide senior transportation for the area.
The Village Board approved a $10,000 grant toward the
Grafton Township Senior Transportation Program which serves residents of Grafton
Township and Huntley Village.
According to a Village Staff Analysis Report,
ridership has increased from 1,373 in 2010 to 2,000 in 2011. Overall activity
has increased from 3,337 in 2010 to 4,041 in 2011. The amount the Village will
pay is the same as the intergovernmental Agreement.
At the most recent Village Board meeting, May 24, an
agreement with the Township was approved. More information about the
