First Aid Certification Class Coming At Grafton Township

On October 19th Grafton Township and the Huntley Fire Department will be offering a first aid certification class at 11 am to 1 pm at the Grafton Township Offices, 10109 Vine Street, Huntley.

Participants will receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid Course Completion Card that is valid for two years.  During the course, an AHA Instructor conducts video-based lessons and works with students to complete their first aid skills practice and testing.

Heartsaver First Aid is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies.

Lt. Bill Kresal will be our instructor.  The cost for the class is $5.00.  Please call Supervisor Linda Moore’s office at 1-847-669-3328 to make your reservation.
