Planning and Development Committee of the McHenry County Board is meeting Thursday morning at 8:30 in the County Board Offices, Administrative Building, 667 Ware Road, Woodstock.
The committee is to interview David Henry for appointment to the McHenry County Housing Commission.
The Committee will also consider a year-end report regarding the McHenry County Housing Commission which had its beginning in April 2010. According to the report, the Commission has addressed five of the 11 goals instituted by the bylaws.
The membership of the Commission includes a wide variety of backgrounds including realtors, developers, housing agencies, city administrators, mortgage leaders and others, all allowing for a widespread perspective on how to address housing issues in the county.
