It's the first day of the Environmental Defenders of McHenry County Use It Again Garage Sale, which runs through Sunday, August 1. This annual fundraiser is taking place in the Algonquin Township Road District Complex, 3702 U.S. Highway 14, next to the Hollows, between Crystal Lake and Cary.
Visitors may find antiques, household items, clothing, books, tools or maybe a perfect gift for someone.
This group has had a long-standing motto, Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. The sale will be open from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm Thursday through Saturday and from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm Sunday for a bag sale.
