Summertime Camping For Kids

There is still a lot of summer left! Looking for some great outdoor fun for the kids? McHenry County Conservation District Summer Camps encourages teens and kids to explore their sense of adventure. New camps have been added. Camps are $90 for five full days of fun.

Arts & Nature Camp
Ages 8-9
9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
August 9-13, Pleasant Valley, Woodstock
Pleasant Valley will serve as our backdrop and inspiration while we use paint, clay, music and other ways to interpret nature’s beauty. Projects, hikes and games await you along with new friends.

Conservation Day Camp
Ages 8-11
9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
August 9 - 13, Glacial Park, Ringwood
Campers will have fun canoeing Nippersink Creek, hiking Glacial Park’s trails, exploring the wood, helping at a conservation work day project, enjoying cookouts, playing games and doing crafts!
