- Permanent baggo and bocce courts
- Improved sand volleyball court
- Expanded tennis courts
- Castle themed playground and splash pad
- Bioswales, rain gardens and a water feature
- A second fishing pier
Stop by before the snow
piles up and enjoy some chilly outdoor fun! The picnic shelter can be reserved
for next year beginning in January 2015.
A master redevelopment plan
for the 20 year old park was approved by the Park District Board of
Commissioners in 2011 and a grant from the Illinois Department of Resources was
awarded to partially fund the project.
