the Fox River at Algonquin Tailwater affecting Kane and McHenry Counties.
At 9:30 a.m. the stage was 8.8 feet.
Action stage is 9.0 feet, flood stage is 9.5 feet.
Forecast—the river crested below flood stage and will slowly fall to 8.6 feet by Sunday morning.
