The Virginia Road Park and Ride Lot –located
on the southwest corner of Virginia Road at IL 31—is open to serve residents
for years to come.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony is taking
place at the site this morning.
The lot was engineered and constructed
using 100% federal funding through the Congestion Mitigation Air Quality
Program administered by the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning.
As the first Park and Ride lot in
McHenry County, the Virginia Road Park and ride Lot will serve residents for
years to come.
