Government At Work

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10—
8:15 a.m. – McHenry County Board Human Resources Committee—
Meeting in the County Board Conference Room, County Administration Building, 667 Ware Road, Woodstock.
Matters to be considered by the Committee include:
  • Authorization for the reclassification of the JULIE Coordinator position in the Division of Transportation
  • Authorization for ht reclassification of a position of Administrative Specialist II to Administrative specialist III and from a part-time status to full time status.
The Committee is also to discuss the e-Verify Program.
9:30 a.m. McHenry County Board Finance and Audit Committee-- Meeting in the County Board Conference Room, County Administration Building, 667 Ware Road, Woodstock.
The County Division of Transportation is making supplemental requests and is providing a presentation for this.
Resolutions are being presented regarding the following purchases:
  • Fuel Management System
  • Tractors with mowers
  • Skid Steer
Other matters for committee consideration include:
  • Authorizing the reclassification of the JULIE Coordinator position in the Division of Transportation
  • Resolution authorizing the relocation of the veterans Assistance commission Office, the Regional Superintendent of Schools Office and Planning & Development Staff.
  • A Construction Contract with Carmichael Construction, an Emergency Appropriation to the Veterans Assistance Commission and General Fund Fiscal Year 2013 Budgets, and Budget Line Item Transfers in the General Fund Non-Departmental Fiscal Year 2013 Budget
  • A presentation is slated regarding the Division of Transportation purchase of a fuel management system
  • Resolution authorizing the purchase of tractors with mowers
  • Resolution authorizing the purchase of skid steer.
  • Resolution authorizing the reclassification of the JULIE coordinator in the Division of Transportation
  • Resolution authorizing the relocation of the Veterans Assistance commission Office, the Regional superintendent of Schools Office and Planning and Development Staff, with a Construction Contract with Carmichael Construction and an Emergency Appropriation to the Veterans Assistance
  • Resolution Authorizing Monthly Transactions for the Delinquent Tax Program
  • Resolution Authorizing Acceptance of the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity Dislocated Worker Training National Emergency (DWT NEG) Grant #13-671002 and
  • An Emergency Appropriation to the McHenry County Workforce Network FY 2013 Budget
  • Reclassification of the JULIE Coordinator Position in the FY13-14 Budget Development Discussion
7:00 p.m.—Lakewood Village Board,
Meeting in the Red Tail Golf Club, 7900 Red Tail Drive, Lakewood.
  • The Board is to consider approval of the recommended Halloween Trick or Treat Hours to be October 31 from 3 to 7 p.m.
  • A presentation is slated regarding the Village’s annual audit for the fiscal Year Ending April 30, 2013
  • A presentation is also slated by Strand and Associates regarding the East Sewer Area followed by a request to approve an agreement for technical services with Strand along with a request for approval of a task order for $127,000.
  • Approval of another motion is requested for concrete work of removal and replacement of sections main sidewalk at Georgetown by RDS Concrete for an amount not to exceed $9,650.
7:00 p.m. – Nunda Township Board of Trustees—
Meeting in the Township Hall, 3510 Bay Road, Crystal Lake,
Time is provided at the beginning of the meeting for public comments related to agenda items only
The Trustees will consider Township and Road District Warrants for payment.
Township and Road District warrants are presented for trustees approval
Reports from the Supervisor, Town Clerk, Highway Commissioner, Assessor and Trustees.
Another opportunity for public comment is provided at the end of the business portion of the meeting.
