Government At Work

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 6 – 
8:15 a.m. – McHenry County Board Transportation Committee –
Meeting in the Main Conference Room, Division of Transportation, 16111 Nelson Road, Woodstock.
A presentation regarding pavement preservation program for 2013 is to be made.
Two resolutions are being presented for Committee approval including Adopt-A-Highway Volunteer Group Agreement and approval for a supplemental construction engineering services agreement for contract involving Charles J. Miller Road Construction project
Also a request for Qualification for 2013 Construction Materials Testing Services is being presented the Committee for approval.
6:30 p.m. – McHenry County Historic Preservation –
Meeting in the P & D Department Conference Room, County Administration Building, 667 Ware Road, Woodstock.
The Committee is to interview four candidates including Benjamin Fredrick, Nicholas Spoor, Susan Stelford and Robert Goray.
A continuing discussion is also listed regarding a proposed landmark point system. Also to be considered is a discussion of certificate of appropriateness – Forms and Procedures.
Items for action include: Election of Officers, Committee Assignments, Confirmation of Meeting Dates, Historic Significance to McHenry County of the Harmony School.
Also, possible expenditures for memberships annual fund (Landmark Illinois) and Certificate of Appropriateness: and Changes to Forms/Procedures.
 7:00 p.m. – McHenry County Animal Control Advisory Committee –
Meeting in the Animal Control Crystal Lake facility, 100 North Virginia Street, (Route 14) Crystal Lake.
