Loyola University Seeking To be Carbon-Neutral

Description: The second lecture of a four-part free series will feature Nancy Tuchman, director of the Institute of Urban Environmental Sustainability (IUES) at Loyola University, Chicago. She will present “Engaging In Transformation.”
Tuchman will talk about how Loyola University is seeking to be a carbon-neutral institution, which engages all stakeholders in the process of sustainable decision-making considering the social, economic and environmental impacts through a transformative educational experience.
In addition, Bill McKibbon of 350.org will present “The Climate Fight Gets Hotter” on the Bioneers DVD this evening.
The series continues with other featured speakers on Feb. 5 and 12.
