SPAN, Student Peace Action Network at McHenry County College, presents a showing of the PBS special, Women, War and Peace; I Came to Testify, on Wednesday April 11, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Employee Dining Room at MCC, 8900 Northwest Highway, Crystal Lake.
The second in the PBS series, I Came to Testify is the moving story of 16 women who stepped forward to take the witness stand in an international court of law that resulted in a triumphant verdict leading to new international laws about sexual violence in war.
On the same date, in the evening is SPAN's Take Back The Night March. Please help spread the word and support this event.
