Tuesday Meetings

8:30 a.m. – McHenry County Housing Commission –
Meeting in the Conference Room of McHenry County Administration Building, 667 Ware Road, Woodstock.

A presentation is slated on HOME Project Financing followed by several committee reports and a review of staff report.

Under New Business, the topics include Analysis of Impediment Proposal Status with a discussion on this.
HOME 2011 Notice’s of Funding Availability is being presented for discussion and action.
UDO Commission Impact Update is to be discussed.

9:00 a.m. – McHenry County Tuberculosis Care and Treatment Board Meeting
In addition to considering disbursements for May through August of the current year, the Board is to consider renewal of a contract with Metro Infection Disease Consultants.

Reports as applicable are to be received from the TB Nurse, and any statistics...

The program highlights are Kane County Outbreak Update.
New Business for discussion is the subject of a New TB Nurse.

The Commission will have an opportunity to discuss the topic of “Research offers simpler, effective treatment option for latent TB infection” and “Elephant to Human Transmission of Tuberculosis, 2009.”

6:00 p.m. –Joint Meeting of Finance and Audit Committee with the Law and Justice Committee, --
Meeting in the County Board Conference Room, of County Administration Building, 667 Ware Road, Woodstock.

The only topic on the agenda is an executive session regarding probable or imminent litigation

6:30 p.m. – Crystal Lake Public Library Board Special Meeting –
In the Thomas Ames Meeting Room at the Library.
The topic of this meeting is the Presentation of the Needs Assessment for the library.

7:00 p.m. – McHenry County Board –
Meeting in the County Board Room, County Administration Building, 667 Ware Road, Woodstock.

A Special Recognition is being made for the Village of Fox River Grove to receive a Certificate of Completion as an Emergency Management Agency for the Village.

A budget development update is to be presented to the Board members.

Six zoning petitions are being presented for approval including:
Dorr Township-Philip Hellyer, request reclassification of B1V to B1Vwith a recommended approval.
Riley Township, A R Land Co/Peter Baker & Son Co., request reclassification of A1C to A1C (renewal) with a recommended approval
Nunda Township MMR Holdings, LLC, request a reclassification of I1-I1V with a recommended approval
Dunham Township, Edmond Trust, a requested reclassification of B2 to B3C with no recommendation.
Dorr Township, Erich/Terry Utech, a requested reclassification of A1 to A1C, with no recommendation.
Nunda Township, Clow Trust, a requested reclassification of A1C to A1CV with no recommendation.

7:30 P.M. – Crystal Lake City Council –
Meeting in the City Council Chambers, 100 West Woodstock Street, Crystal Lake.

A new Firefighter Paramedic, Ryan Muscavitch, will be officially sworn in by the Mayor. He has recently completed his academy training, graduating in the top percentile of his class and is currently in the orientation phase within the department.

A Community Service Award Presentation is being made to Larie McKeever, in appreciation of her daily walks on Golf Course, Village Roads, in all kinds of weather, picking up trash

Cub Scout Pack 168 is requesting to overnight camp at Three Oaks Recreation Area from 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 8 through 11:00 a.m. Sunday, October 9. This is allowed only if approved by the Mayor and City Council. The group is expected to pay $154 including Special Event Application Fee, $50 Pavilion Rental Fee (They requested exclusive use of pavilion) and additional site security staff for 4.5 hours at $54.
